This Thursday is going to be a busy one!
For math, both course 1 and course 2 students (that's the 6th and 7th grade textbooks) need to turn in lesson 1115. We will finish up the textbook and move on to the next one! (After a bit of reviewing over some more difficult topics)
For science, you need to finish up the experiment in Ch 12 that covers your pulse rate, and how exercise and rest affect it. That shouldn't take too long. Just conduct the experiment, and answer the analyze & conclude questions.
We have also finished up Ch 12, so we will be having Ch 12 test on Thursday. Be sure to complete the review and your chapter choices assignments for Thursday. *** The required assignment of the circulatory system will not be due until next Thursday due to the amount of work that is already due on Thursday!*** But don't forget about it!
Have a great Easter holiday!

Back in the swing of things!
After a nice spring break, we are back in the swing of things. We dove back into math and are nearing the end of the textbook! 7th graders have covered through lesson 115, my small group of 2 is also on lesson 115, and my 6th graders are on lesson 99. Once we finish the book, we will begin the next grade level text.
For math, 7th graders are required to turn in lesson 113 on Tuesday and lesson 115 on Thursday. 6th graders will turn in lesson 99 on Tuesday.
We started the cardiovascular system unit in science this week. Chapter choices again include drawing a life-size picture of your circulatory system. You will also need to complete the science experiment about your pulse rate at rest and in motion by Thursday.
Have a great weekend!
