What's up next...

This Tuesday we covered a few more math lessons. 7th graders did lessons 106-108. Lesson 108 is due tomorrow. My group of 2 covered lessons 101-102 and investigation 10. Your choice of either I-10 or lesson 102 is due tomorrow. And my group of 3 covered a few lessons as well. Lesson 82 is due tomorrow. As with every Thursday, we will also be having a math test. Good luck!

This week we started a short chapter about the digestive system. We will cover all the textbook has to offer this week! The chapter notes are at the bottom. You should have your system drawings of your skin (outside w/clothes), muscular system, skeletal system, and digestive system completed, as well as chapter choices, and your review for NEXT Thursday. We will be using next Tuesday to review and next Thursday for a test.

Report cards were not sent out until today due to the inclement weather and early release yesterday. Please return those by Friday.

Have a great week next week!

Workless Weekend!

There is NO homework this weekend! Since we reviewed and prepped for chapel tomorrow, we did not cover any new material this week. Therefore, there is no homework. We finished up our science chapter this week too, so there is no science homework. For those of you who already have your paper, you could work on drawing your body systems. So far we have covered the skin, muscular system, and skeletal system. One system per page.

Look for report cards next week.

Have a great weekend!

Plans for Tomorrow

This week we are using the opportunity to review and solidify all previous concepts we have learned in math. We are reviewing tests, answering questions, and working on homework. Lesson 105 is due for 7th graders and lesson 100 for those working on Course 1 material.

Tomorrow we will also have a science test. Chapter choices and chapter 10 review will be due tomorrow as well, with the exception of the body systems drawing. All unfinished work for the 6 weeks must be turned in tomorrow to receive any credit.

Happy studying!

Work for the Week

This week the seventh graders are working on lessons 101-105, covering several algebraic concepts. Lesson 98 was due today and lesson 100 is due on Thursday. You will have time to work on 103 and 105 on Thursday after your exam.

My group of 2 working on course 1 material covered Lessons 96-97. Lesson 95 is due on Thursday and you will have time in class to finish lesson 97 and lesson 100.

The group of 3 worked on a few lessons, 78-80, and should complete their assigned work.

Everyone has a math test on Thursday. I would advise you to study by going through the examples in the book. If you get the right answers, move on. If you don't, then investigate why or ask me!

Be sure to be working on your chapter choices assignment, including your life-size self-portrait.

Have a good week! And congrats cougars on your big win tonight!

What's happening this week...

Today we wrapped up chapter 9 with a science test. For those of you who were absent, Ms. Ross has your test ready for you tomorrow. We will begin chapter 10 on Thursday and our unit about the human body. Chapter 10 will cover the skin, muscular system, and skeletal system. Should be interesting!

In math, 7th grade covered lessons 96-98. If you have not yet completed lesson 95 yet, please finish ONLY that one for homework. You will have time in class to complete lesson 98. If you have already finished 95, please finish 98. ONLY one lesson must be turned in on Thursday.

My group of 2 completed lessons 91-92. Please finish lesson 92 for homework.

My group of 3 should complete the last lesson covered today as well- 75 I believe.

Progress reports have not yet gone out due to Mrs. Blase's maternity leave. I should have them out before the end of the week. Thanks for your patience.

If you are concerned about your child's grade, please e-mail me and I can give you their math/science grades anytime.

Have a great week!
